If you have a spring loaded door hinge with no allen or hex socket and you need to adjust the spring tension, this video shows you how to do it. The "nail set" is a tool used to make nails flush with a surface, without risking hammering the surface and leaving a mark from the hammer.

To tighten the hinge:
Place the nail set into the hole closest to the pin. Pull the pin away from the anchor point, and move it to the hole closer to the anchor point.

To loosen the hinge:
Put the nail set in the hole farther from the pin and anchor point. Loosen tension on the pin, and then move it to the hole farther from the anchor point.
