This is totally new for me!

I’ve never done a super silent video before but I thought it would be something fun that we could do together. The goal of the silence is to limit distraction so that as your journal, you can focus on your writing.

Journal with me videos are something that I feel I could play around with and I’ve also considered some prompt-like videos where I walk you through an entire journaling session (kind of like how my college professors did for me).

Journal prompts for the journal with me session:
How are you feeling today/right now?
What’s one thing you want to accomplish today and why?
What’s one event that you’re proud of today?
What’s something you’re excited for this week?
What’s on your mind?
Is there anything that is making you anxious/depressed/concerned? What is it?

For my creative writers:
Describe the space you’re writing in
Write a scene where your characters are in a similar place
Pick one object near you and write about the magical qualities it possesses
Write a scene that starts with the phrase “I didn’t do it”

For the best experience, I recommend that for journaling, you spend around two minutes per prompt. This is an estimate. Basically, when you’re done with one prompt, move on to the next!

For my creative writers, I highly recommend that you take the entire 10 minutes to write using any one prompt. You may be surprised with what you come up with!
