Our Project STARKMACHERSCHULE has two elements and principal Partners:

1. Gen Rosso with the Musical "Streetlight" - Stark ohne Gewalt (Strong without Violence)
Through the work in a musical with music, dance and technology the youngsters experience themselves in an extraordinary situation. They test out their limits dealing with their hidden talents and skills and get the chance of showing them to a broad audience. The project has had several evaluations and proved itself to be a strong anchor of positive emotions, on which the youngsters can build a successful future.

2. Heidelberger Kompetenztraining (Training of Competences of Heidelberg)
It is a training of mental strength, developed by Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Knörzer, which helps people to reach their goals. The core is to be able to make incontrollable situations of incongruence (situations of challenge) controllable, to make sure that a person covers the gap between actual situation and target state. A youngster has to face a challenge. He does not know the possible solutions yet and he has no well-known patterns of behavior, on which he can fall back. We teach the youngsters how to deal with these kinds of situations in a constructive and goal-oriented manner, building on existing resources. The basic know-how in the field of goals, concentration, strengths and protection against disturbing elements are conveyed.
