Looking for some delicious at-home Paryushan-friendly recipes without compromising on the taste? If yes, then in this #Shorts video, I will be making Paneer Tikka Biryani, a dish that never fails to impress and is made at least once in our home during Paryushan. This homemade biryani is flavourful, hearty and satisfying meal that you have to try this Paryushan version of the same. Recipe for Paneer Tikka Biryani:

Ingredients:
1 tbsp Oil
1 tbsp Red Chilli Powder
1 tsp Coriander Powder
½ tsp Jeera Powder
½ tsp Kasuri Methi
¼ tsp Haldi
½ tsp Garam Masala
1 tsp Ginger Powder (optional)
1 tsp amchur
¼ cup Hung Curd (steamed and cooled down)
Salt to taste
500 gms Paneer cubes
Ghee for cooking

Gravy:
2 tbsp Oil
1 tbsp Jeera
2 Tej Patta
¼ cup Besan
1 tbsp Red Chilli Powder
1 tsp Coriander Powder
½ tsp Haldi
½ tsp Ginger Powder (optional)
2 cups Dahi
Water
Salt to taste
1 tbsp Kasuri Methi
1 tbsp Garam Masala

Method:
In a bowl combine all the ingredients and whisk well till there are no lumps. Add in paneer cubes and coat it well
Heat some ghee in a pan and cook the paneer till it is golden brown from all sides
For the gravy heat oil in a broad vessel, add in jeera and tej patta, and cook for a minute. Then add in besan with all the masalas, and ginger powder and cook while it bubbles. Add in the dahi whisk well and add in some water along with salt
Cook this mixture till the oil starts separating then add in kasuri methi and garam masala. Cook further for 2-3 minutes
Add in the paneer tikka cubes mix and spread well. Then top it up with a layer of cooked rice, spread evenly
Pour over the saffron water, 2-3 tbsp of ghee and garnish with dried mint. Cover with a lid, seal the sides with atta, and place the kadhai on a tawa to avoid giving direct heat
Cook for 10 minutes on a high flame and further for 10 minutes on a low flame. Serve steaming hot with boondi raita and enjoy!
