For years and years, drug addicts and all kind of thugs, have used to hang out at the WW II MEMORIAL at the Back Bay Fens park to shoot up heroin, crack-cocaine, meth, as well as to drink alcohol. They sit on monuments benches to shoot up heavy drugs. From Sprint to Autumn. Those marshes were cut to prevent those junkies from hiding in the cattails. They throw out all of their trash on marshes where many wild animals inhabit, and into the water of the Muddy River. On this video: last week they disassembled a stolen bike and left it on the grounds nearby the river. Thugs use the Muddy River's marshes to defecate, and dump stolen items and garbage, polluting the wetlands and the river itself. Boxes of AMAZON, UPS, FEDEX are stolen by those thugs from Fenway's resident buildings and taken to the Memorial. The public is SICK to see those individuals making out of the MEMORIAL, a remembrance place, their toilet, their campground, their hangout. Boston Parks should have ZERO TOLERANCE to environmental crime. Back Bay Fens park was created by the rightful enjoyment of law abiding Bostonians, not to be used illegally by people.
Boston Parks Maintenance removed heavy items from the marshes last week; I spent hours cleaning up the marshes of all of the garbage left by those dopeheads last year.: it looks pristine now.
Soon the RESTORED MUDDY RIVER ($72 MILLION DOLLARS river) will be inaugurated. Boston Parks cannot inaugurate the MUDDY RIVER while tolerate drug addicts from "METHADONE MILE" coming to the park to VANDALIZE ITS GROUNDS and ITS RIVER. It's time for Boston Parks and BOSTON POLICE to team up to protect the park, City of Boston's owned land, and the public!!!.
Instead of chasing the magnificent Canada geese from the park, Boston Parks Commissioner should use City of Boston's law enforcement to kick out drug addicts from Back Bay Fens park permanently. So many financial resources from Boston Parks' budget go to remedy damages from vandalism, environmental crime caused by those individuals.
