Nikon Z6: AutoFocus Motor Noise problems when shooting video using F-mount lenses (w/ FTZ Adapter)

Описание к видео Nikon Z6: AutoFocus Motor Noise problems when shooting video using F-mount lenses (w/ FTZ Adapter)

Yikes … just bought the Nikon Z6 thinking I could use all of my old AF-S Nikkor lenses (thanks to the Nikon FTZ adapter for F-mount Nikon Lenses). While the AF-S lenses seem to work great for photography, the focus motor noise on the AF-S lenses is an unexpected, and annoying problem that crushes the video audio and makes them a No-Go for video use (at least in my case). Given I bought the Nikon Z6 primarily for video shooting, I had to open up the wallet and purchase one of the new Z series lenses (in this case, I bought the Nikon 35mm Z series lens). Thankfully, this lens works much better and the AF is quiet as a mouse :) So problem is solved, but a bit more money….and definitely a bit disappointed my AF-S lenses are basically limited to photography, or video with no audio.
