Leatherman Mr. Crunch

Today we will be looking at the first release from the Leatherman Garage. The Mr. Crunch was one of Tim Leatherman's early prototypes for a plier based multi tool. The idea is to have a plier head that can transform between a long reach needle nose plier to a set of regular pliers. As one might imagine, this was a unique design and also a very expensive design to manufacture. So for the first release from the Garage, Leatherman brought Tim Leatherman's design off the drawing board and into reality. We'll dive into this design as well as some of the new tooling integrated into the frame choice for this multi tool.
