Minutemen in Concert at Angels Gate .

Shot for a Cable TV show, this footage was never aired as Guitarist D Boone died in December . Called "Sounds of South Bay" (Link below) the local Cable Company would let us take their big 3/4" cameras and tape recorders for weeks to find good bands we liked and give them free publicity. Some companies still do this today.
I knew George and the Minutemen and about this gig at tFt Macarthur's bunker that once had held cannons but now showcased guitars and such.
It's a good looking location to shoot (the view) and the shape of the bowl made the place a natural (?) sounding amphitheater.
After I shot their song CORONA I knew we had more than enough footage for a 10 minute segment so I packed it up and walked on out getting the best stuff from on top of the place as you will see.and even though I was not a punk fan I thought they sounded great and since then George has became one of my best friends for over 30 years now..
