4K MTB Whistler's BEST Slab Lap - Rockwork Orange, KMB, WBG

Описание к видео 4K MTB Whistler's BEST Slab Lap - Rockwork Orange, KMB, WBG

There is a LOT of rock slabs in Whistler, so many that it'd be impossible to count... and they're all different too! Some are grippy, some are slippy, some have roots and some have drops. Now I haven't ridden all the slab trails around, but when I think about one lap that sticks out in my mind as my favourite, this one is it. Starting with Rockwork Orange- a black rated slow moving technical trail loaded with unique rock features, Korova Milk Bar- a very similar trail but with the difficulty cranked up to double black, Hypnotoad- an unsanctioned gem of gnarly rocks back to back, and Wizard Burial Ground- a janky and undulating double black trail winding through a beautiful piece of forest. Generally once I've ridden a pedal lap, I try to find new trails to take on the way down to create a unique experience- but I've ridden this lap many times now and the features never get old! It's high focus, highly technical, and lasts for a long time despite the lower elevation.

I'd ridden this once already this year attempting to film, but I messed up my camera settings. This time I knew what the features looked like and how to ride them, but on the first lap through I always recommend looking at some of these before dropping in. This was recorded the same day as my last video, and hopefully I'll have another coming soon from a couple days after. Hope you enjoy this ride, thanks for watching!

My bike is the 2022 We Are One Arrival, 160-152mm travel, Sram Code RSC brakes, and some ancient Maxxis tires which should be replaced by the time this comes out.
