What a summer it has been! As usual, it flew by far too fast. But, one of the good things about adding on a side project to our already jam packed summer is that we were able to get up to Ash River 5 times to complete a little mini kitchen renovation at the cabin. It was mostly work, but we certainly made time to play as well! We're going to call this kitchen "done for now" as there are always a thousand ideas running through our heads on what else we can do!
It was forecasted to be a beautiful weather weekend, but we only had 1 day up there, so we finished up the kitchen as fast as humanly possible and got out on the lake to enjoy essentially our last day of summer vacation. We had a ton of fun on the water exploring some of our favorite islands, cliff jumping, cooking up delicious food, eating dinner in the middle of Kabetogama watching the sunset and the moonrise, and just having lots of fun and lots of laughs! A perfect way to end our summer 2024.
