I got a VI chemical peel & microneedling - hyperpigmentation melasma on Asian skin @amillennioldlife

As an older millennial, I'm guilty of not having worn sunscreen 'til I reached my 30s. Don't be like me! Use sunscreen daily!

Now in my 40s, I have a lot of hyperpigmentation and photoaging damage accrued over decades of sunbathing 8-10 hours a day every summer at the beach in southern California. I'm fortunate to be in a position (finally) in my life where I can afford to and want to try more aggressive skin treatments to reverse my skin's age and improve its health.

Here's my experience getting a VI precision plus chemical peel with microneedling. I'm happy with the results, even though it doesn't look drastically better on camera. irl, I can see my skin surface is more smooth, complexion is more even, and my sun damaged skin looks healthier!
