This wood lathe was built in China for Busy Bee in Canada. The same lathe is built for other discount brands. The 14" Wood Lathe from King Machinery is pretty much the same machine with different paint. It's a copy of a now discontinued model from Jet in the USA.

I did forget one important irritant. The shaft on the headstock will not accept a regular wrench. You either use the cheap wrench they provide or modify either a regular wrench or grind the slots wider on the shaft. Not sure which I will opt for in the future. For now I tolerate the cheap wrench.
