MOUNTAIN DEW CAKE!!! #56

Our daughter, Jenna, makes her most requested dessert - Mountain Dew Cake!!!
Mountain Dew Cake:
1 box yellow cake mix (Betty Crocker is best)
2 small boxes of instant French Vanilla pudding
4 eggs
1/2 cup Mountain Dew
1/2 cup Vegetable Oil
1/2 cup water
Mix together cake mix & pudding mix. In a separate bowl; mix together eggs, Mountain Dew, Oil, & water. Stir liquids into dry mixture and beat with an electric mixer for 2-3 minutes or until smooth. Pour into a nonstick bundt pan coated with a nonstick spray with oil and flour already mixed.
Bake in pre-heated oven at 325 degrees for 50-60 minutes. Cake will slightly pull away from the pan. You can put the Bundt pan on a cookie sheet to avoid over browning the bottom of the cake.
Jenna decided not to include the topping this time, but wanted to make sure the directions were included.
Topping:
1 stick of butter
1 cup of sugar
1/4 cup Mountain Dew
1/4 cup of water
Melt the butter over medium heat. Add the remaining ingredients. Bring mixture to a boil. Boil for 1 minute. Drizzle the hot mixture over the cake.
Put just a light layer on the top pouring most of the mixture on between the edges of the cake and pan. Be sure to let the mixture soak between the cake and sides for 30 minutes.
Turn onto serving plate.
