Cleaning the GS500E carburetors is pretty straight forward. Mostly like cleaning other motorcycle carburetors. Carburetors get gunked up as they sit unused with fuel in them. The fuel starts to separate, and the newer ethanol-mix gasoline separates faster than older gas ever did. It is simple, but time consuming to clean your carburetors.
