Backpacking Eldorado National Forest: Silver Lake - Unnamed Creek - Granite Lake

This was an easy overnight trip with my friend Manuel, his dog Soka, and my friend Cameron. We head into the Eldorado National Forest from Granite lake trailhead tucked behind the majestic Silver Lake. We take our time hiking among the beautiful granite and boulders, before shortly reaching a waterfall from an unnamed creek. After the creek there is a small ascent up to Amy Lake which I once again misname in this video. Strolling past Amy Lake its a quick five to ten minute hike up to Granite Lake. Once at Granite Lake we set up a base camp, explore the area, cook some food and fail at some fly fishing. The following morning we wake up, make breakfast and head out after enjoying the surrounding area. I ended up filming a lot and found it hard to cut scenes, so I apologize for the long length.
