Kantham, an elderly zamindar enslaved to the beauty of a respectable villager, and Jaggadu, a bandit thief, compete. Buchibabu of Pachgannerupalem, who came to marry the zamindar's daughter, also falls in love with Kantham. Finally, a merciless bandit forces her into a second marriage. Buchibabu becomes a bad match for both of them when he falls in love with a palikapu named Raju, the daughter of a zamindar and stops loving her. But another village girl loves him and makes him love her and gets her way.

Kantham, who is married to a bandit, worships her husband as a god and sends Anna, who has come to kill her husband, with the right words to say. The bandit is an eyesore to the world, but he grows fond of his daughter by his first wife.

The zamindar plans to get Kantam as his own anyway and assigns the job to a member of the Jaggadi gang to eliminate the bandit Jaggadi. Jagga thinks he is dead and goes to rape Kanth. But the damaged Jagga is saved by a woman who has been tormented by him till now, he learns the meaning of kindness and love and turns into a good man and frees Kanth and suffers the punishments for his mistakes. The story ends with the zamindar's daughter marrying the king and Buchibabu marrying the village boy
