Famous Graves of Cave Hill Cemetery (Colonel Sanders, Muhammad Ali) in Louisville Kentucky

Today, we travel to Louisville, Kentucky to explore one of the most beautiful cemeteries I've ever visited. Join me as we discover gorgeous statuary, beautiful landscaped grounds, and pay homage to several noted grave sites.

Two such graves memorialize not only Louisville's most favored sons, but arguably two of the most famous men in the world within their respective fields. Colonel Harlan Sanders, Founder of Kentucky Fried Chicken and the greatest boxer ever known, Muhammad Ali lie within the grounds of this National Register listed cemetery.

In addition to graves of prominent citizens, the statuary throughout the grounds are more on par with those displayed in museums and sculpture gardens. In particular, the statuary created by sculptor, Barney Bright are not to be missed.
