Dropping Ugly is made up of Simon on vocals, and guitar, and Abbey on drums, along with touring bass support from Madi Crooker.

Simon founded Dropping Ugly in 2012, and Abbey joined in 2018. And much like Jake and Elwood Blues, they are on a “mission from God” to write and perform timeless music. With their sophomore album and first national tour slated for early 2022, they are chomping at the bit for the recovery of live music, and the resurrection of rock ‘n’ roll itself.

They've rarely, if ever, had listeners compare their sound to the same band twice. They’ve gotten The Killers, Oasis, The Strokes, Sonic Youth, My Bloody Valentine, Cheap Trick, Rick Springfield, Fountains of Wayne, Todd Rundgren ,and a few things in between. Together, they create eclectic, memorable music, and hopefully you’ll agree!
