WPL C34 RTR - a rocky and muddy adventure! 1/12 scale RC 4x4 trail truck

This WPL C34 FJ Landcruiser 1/12 scale trail truck is fast becoming a favourite of RCOCM due to it's detailed looks, beautiful colour and surprising stability, given it's tall and fairly weighty hard body.

I am starting to think of upgrades for this rig, so as they were lying around, I replaced the fairly hard standard tyres with these Injora 1.3 inch metal beadlock wheels and Swamp Claw tyres, which cost nearly half of the complete C34 RTR model from the WPL Official Store! They are more suited to modified rigs to really, see their true potential but that's where I intend to head with this one!

I feel that paired with the natural torque from the C34's motor, the grip from these tyres certainly helped negotiate the terrain and got the truck over some tough obstacles. I think they also look an absolutely perfect fit on this ruck so they will definitely be staying as part of it's upgrades!

Another upgrade which would benefit this truck out the box would be metal driveshafts. The stock ones are 'out of phase' which causes a slight pulsation in the drivetrain. I have linked these down below as well... something I will be fitting for it's next outing 😁
