Thoughts as of November 2018: I’m kind of talking about a couple things here, especially verisimilitude. Anohana breaks its rules (and thus its verisimilitude) by having the obvious solution happen once after so long of not addressing it. But more importantly, all stories are contrived so it’s not meaningful criticism unless there’s a contradiction somewhere that reduces meaning.
