Chaos and confusion at Gardens by the Bay station after TEL 4 open house event

There was a sudden platform change at Gardens by the Bay MRT platforms that confused the passengers and even the station staff. A child also got left behind from the family in the midst of it.
This happened on 21 June 2024, around 9:40pm onwards, when the trains from TEL 4 preview/open house from Tanjong Rhu to Bayshore started arriving at the station platform B, on service.
The TEL 4 preview open house event has just ended 40 minutes earlier at 9:00pm during the time of incident.

TEL Stage 4, which has just opened on 23 June 2024, consists of 7 new stations after Gardens By The Bay, from Tanjong Rhu to Bayshore.
There was an open house preview event on 21 June 2024 from 12:00pm to 9:00pm, and viewers can visit them by taking the shuttle train at GBTB platform B to get to TEL 4 station on that day.
Before 23 June 2024, all trains coming from Woodlands North will terminate at Gardens by the Bay.
