Viktor Yankovskyi - bariton.
He began his musical education at the Music College in Drohobycz in the guitar and solo singing
class. Then he continued his vocal training at the Academy of Music in Lviv, where he obtained a
bachelor's degree. He perfected his vocal technique by studying under the supervision of prof.
Kornel Siatetsky - an outstanding Ukrainian tenor. Currently, he is a student of the Karol
Szymanowski in Katowice in the solo singing class of dr hab. Ewa Biegas.
Viktor Yankovskyi is a laureate of numerous awards at national and international vocal
competitions:
- 1st price at the Vienna New Years International Music Competition ( 2020)
- Grand Prix Richard Wagner Award during the IV Competition Michael Stricharz
Foundation for Young Opera Singers (Lviv, 2019)
- 1st place at the "Bella voce" International Vocal Competition in Busko-Zdrój (Busko-Zdrój, 2019)

Viktor Yankovskyi conducts a lively artistic activity. As a soloist, he has performed with the Silesian
Opera Orchestra, the Lviv Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra, the National Presidential Orchestra
of Ukraine, the Orchester de Chambre Nouvelle Europe, the Kalisz Philharmonic Symphony
Orchestra, the Zabrze Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra, and the Chmielnik Philharmonic
Orchestra. He has collaborated with many conductors in Poland and abroad, including Herman
Breuer, Franck Chastrusse Colombier, Sebastian Perłowski, Jerzy Kosek, Tadeusz Kozłowski,
Nicolas Krauze, Taras Martyniuk, Volodimir Syvohip, Vasyl Vasylenko.
In 2017, he toured Italy, performing in Milan, Venice and Brescia. In the same year, he gave
numerous concerts with the Lviv Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra and chamber concerts at the
Lviv Opera. In May 2019, the singer participated in a series of opera concerts with the Orchester
de Chambre conducted by Nicolas Krauze in Paris, and in October he performed as a soloist with
the Lviv Philharmonic Orchestra during the Festival of Prince Władysław Lubomirski creating the
baritone part in Szymanowski's Stabat Mater and Stojowski's Prayer for Poland.
Viktor Yankovsky's concert activity also includes numerous solo recitals with piano
accompaniment. From 2019. Viktor Yankovskyi is a soloist of the Lviv Opera. In June 2019, he
made his debut at the Lviv Opera, playing the title role in the play "Don Giovanni" by W. A. Mozart.
In November 2019. made his debut at the Silesian Opera in Bytom, creating the part of Stanisław
in S. Moniuszko's opera Verbum Nobile, directed by Henryk Konwiński. In 2020 hi recorded CD
with polish and Ukrainian songs „Songs 1920”. He recorded also CD with lullaby XIX and XX cent.
