HAWAI’I TRIP PART 7- in this Video We Eat again @ Romy’s Kahuku Prawns at 56781 Kamehameha Hwy, Kahuku, HI 96731 Which is a Popular roadside stand for fried & steamed platters of local shrimp & prawns, plus unique sauces to offer to complement their prawns/shrimps. They offer other varieties of sauces and cooking styles for their prawns, and Romy’s are particularly known for their butter garlic prawns, and I can say that they’re worth the visit. This Time is my second Visit here and I was about to try their fried sunfish, but they were not available to I tried, their # 3C FRIED SHRIMP COMBINATION PLATE, /no peel shrimp. These are Shrimps/Prawns that are peeled and wrapped in wonton wrappers and then deep fried. They remind me of whole shrimp fritters, with sweet and sour sauce, although as you will see in the Video, I would have preferred for it to have butter garlic dip for these crispy shrimps. But they’re a satisfying lunch, nonetheless. There are other shrimp trucks to try around town. But Romy’s is the one that is recommended and the one that we are familiar with, so What are we waiting for, LETS EAT.
