Discovering Denim Series - Sweetheart Edition - The Bustier - Simplicity 9290

This is the 1st of a 6 part denim series where I collaborate with:

Every other month, from now until December, we will bring you new and unique creations using denim to enhance your wardrobe.

The pattern I chose is a Gertie pattern: Simplicity S9290 it was also pre-released as a Butterick pattern B6354. It's a 3 piece set:
1. Self-lined bolero.
2. Close-fitting, lined, boned bustier has front band & detachable (button) halter strap.
3. Fitted, wrap skirt has pleated right-front & tie ends.
