This video will go through how you can set up a Bitcoin Node and Ord Wallet to prepare for Runes. This tutorial goes through a very specific way to set things up and you may choose to do things differently as needed. For example, you are able to configure where your Ord Index is saved, by adding the flag:

--index [Index Folder Path]

You may also opt out to use the --index-sats flag as it is unnecessary for Runes.

There are more things you can do to change how you interact with these programs, however, I am specifically showing my personal optimal set up for Ord Wallet and a Bitcoin Node.
