We took our wild mustang, Rooster, out for his second-ever trail ride, this time in the stunning Washington mountains with Trent Peterson of The Wild In Us.
With our two mules, Clyde and Reata, we ponied Rooster through rocky terrain, winding trails, and aspen thickets. It was a big test for him—and he handled it better than we could have hoped.
The ride wasn’t without challenges… including a near wreck when another horse got caught on a log. But Rooster stayed centered, showing just how much growth he’s made since we started working with him.
