In today's video I am taking the kayak out to fish at Holland Point. This location is usually one of my better perch fishing locations, but today's trip was full of another species; puppy drum! While fishing the docks for perch, I quickly discovered that small puppy drum had moved into the area thick. They were eagerly hitting live minnows, small Gulp! swimbaits, and other soft plastics. The pups fight hard for their size and are a ton of fun to catch! Slot fish are around and the fishing for them should be great from now until October. Catch them while they are here!
