September 19 will be a celebration of culture and diversity in Halifax, Nova Scotia at the third annual Mosaic Festival! Music, dance, and food will fill the Waterfront, bringing the unique community of East Coast's newcomers together in celebration. To meet current public health & safety measures, we will be providing free masks, and in-person festivities will be at a calculated distance. If you can't make it, don't worry! We'll be live-streaming everything on our website and social media. We know the important role that community plays – especially in times like these, when we've been apart.

Our goal remain the same since 2018: for our immigrants, newcomers and international students to have a chance to show off their endless talents and a familiar piece of home on the waterfront, and for the residents of Halifax to have the chance to discover, learn and immerse themselves in other cultures.

In 2019, we expanded the Mosaic Festival to focus on more art forms, specifically films, giving new opportunities to our incredibly talented populace to flaunt their skills and we can all celebrate the magic that is culture and diversity even further!

In 2020 we reinforce all health & safety measures to ensure that we can come together to celebrate our unique and diverse community. The Arts and Culture festival will take place on September 19 at the Halifax Waterfront and live-streamed on our website; the Film festival will take place online on November 13.

Mosaic Festival is founded by My East Coast Experience – a brand dedicated to the immigrant and international population in Atlantic Canada.
