I just reacted to Nightwish's powerful rendition of 'Phantom of the Opera', a song heavily requested by the Nightwish Army .

I didn't notice at first, but it turns out this is a cover of the classic - and what a breathtaking interpretation it is!

For the first time, I paid close attention to the lyrics and performance, and I experienced it in a way I'd never heard it before 🔮. This is metal symphony at its finest: screams of rock fused with stunning opera vocals 🎸🎶.

I had the pleasure of being introduced to Nightwish's original lead singer (before the legendary Floor Jansen joined) - I'm super curious to hear more of her work 🎤. Honestly, from the few songs I've heard, this one is already one of my favorites 🔥🤘.

As usual, Nightwish brings theatrical magic: beautiful set pieces, gorgeous costumes, and an amazing stage presence 🎭. The original lead singer, dressed all in yellow with a matching mic stand and microphone, puts on a perfect show - like theatre with layers and levels of entertainment 🎨.
