There is a village known as YELAMU in what is known as San Francisco today. The first language spoken on this land was RAMAYTUSH, long before Spanish was spoken and definitely long before English. it is important that we acknowledge indigenous protocol in today's post-colonial settler Society. To recognize that there is history before contact. indigenous peoples of these various territories have been stewarding the land for thousands and thousands of years. it is our inherent responsibility to Sue at the land of the caretakers of the spaces and places we occupy.
