The Cross Of Lorraine follows Frenchman and Jew, Luis Mathieu and his daughter Ella, who receives a hidden message from the French resistance, better known as ''The Cross of Lorraine''. Now Luis must go on a perilous journey trough the streets of Paris to make his escape. Along the way he meets the German soldier Hans, who tries to redeem himself by protecting Luis and his child. But during a time of war and chaos, there is no easy way out for the three of them.
