10 Wadi Rum Tips | How to Visit Wadi Rum - A Wild Jordan Adventure

Wadi Rum is difficult to visit on your own and was the most daunting part of planning our trip. With no roads once you're past the main town, a rental car that we weren't allowed to take onto the sand (not that we'd want to) and not the foggiest of ideas where anything was in the desert, I felt a little overwhelmed - yet, I knew I wanted to visit for sure. We ended up booking a 2 day tour that included a private guide, transportation, accommodation breakfasts, lunches, dinners and unlimited water and it was the highlight of our 2 week trip in Jordan. After spending 48 hours in Wadi Rum, I've put together a bunch of tips that may prove helpful for you if you too are planning a trip to Wadi Rum.
