It's relatively easy to update firmware on Godox products but there are a couple of things that aren't immediately obvious.

You will need to install the Godox firmware upgrade software. Godox currently have three different versions. For the XPro trigger it is "Godox G2 Firmware Upgrade Software"

Both of these come in .rar files so you'll also have to use a third-party program to extract them. I used 7-zip, but WinRAR will also work.

I found that my computer didn't recognise the trigger USB until I took the trigger batteries out. I'm not 100% sure if that's necessary.
