Bonifatiuskerk Leeuwarden - koororgel Cavaillé-Coll

A video presenting the church of saint Boneface, a catholic church in the centre of province town Leeuwarden, Friesland, The Netherlands. In this church a very special organ was placed in the 80s build by Aristide Cavaillé-Coll. In has only 4 stops but is very powerfull. In this video you will hear the Flute Harmonique 8' , prestant 4' and doublette 2' . In next video I will also present the trompette 8'.
Played works are 2 small peaces by Dubois and Jongen. Recorded on 6 july 2014. Church was contstructed by Pierre Cuypers (1884)

Kerk is gebouwd door de beroemde architect Pierre Cuypers.
In de kerk staat een bijzonder koor orgel van Aristide Cavaillé-Coll. Het orgel kent slechts 4 registers, maar is zeer krachtig voor haar omvang. In dit filmpje zijn te horen de Flute Harmonique 8' , prestant 4' and doublette 2' . Later laat ik in een ander filmpje ook de Trompette 8' horen. Gespeelde werken zijn van Dubois en Jongen.
