‘Umbayé’ is the sound of the jungle as expressed by the cacao plant. This is the message Rabellion received while cooking the delicious cacao beverage one day in Spain.

This track is a collaboration with two of her colleagues from the Berklee masters program, both Indian born and raised: Shakthi Prasad (Kodeh) and Chaitanya Natu. Shakthi Prasad is a Kerala-raised Germany-based electronic producer and DJ; his contribution on this track was towards beatmaking and percussive singing. Chaitanya Natu is a Pune-raised international tabla player who currently travels around Europe with his multiple music projects. His contribution on this track was with both tabla and verbal percussion.

Rabellion (Tati Rabell) is a Puerto Rico born Spain-based international touring DJ/producer. She has performed her music on global stages & festivals all around the world: Latin America, Europe, USA, Canada & Asia. In addition to holding a Master in Music Production, along with multiple albums under her various music projects, Tati has also been practicing energy healing since 2014. She is a Reiki Master Teacher, Sound Healer, Cacao ceremony facilitator, and practices shamanic healing (specialized in Soul Retrieval) as trained by her Mexican curandera teacher. Where possible she likes to combine her healing work with her performances to fully embrace the healing powers of music, energy and movement.

Tati’s artist name Rabellion comes from her last name Rabell, yet the full concept of ‘Rabellion’ is to help generate a revolution of the mind, body and soul. Helping people everywhere awaken to the full essence of their being by combining Reiki, music, dance and shamanic sound healing to connect with our full selves. When we realize that we are much more than physical beings we can start to experience deeper healing, joy, creation and magic.
