Hey Guys!
Mauritius is not just about beaches — its forests are equally stunning. Since the island was formed from volcanic activity, you’ll find dramatic and diverse landscapes all around.

On this day, we started with Trou aux Cerfs Viewpoint, a dormant volcano with a massive crater that's visible from the top.

Next, we drove about 20–30 minutes to Ganga Talao, one of the most important Hindu pilgrimage sites in Mauritius. It’s home to several beautiful temples and a sacred lake named after India’s holy river, the Ganges.

From there, we entered Black River Gorges National Park and explored multiple viewpoints including:
– Alexandra Falls Viewpoint
– Gorges Viewpoint
– Chamarel Waterfall
– Seven Coloured Earths

We also had lunch at a well-known Rum Distillery nearby — highly recommend trying their local flavours!

To wrap up the day, we witnessed a breathtaking sunset at Le Morne Beach — the perfect end to an adventurous day.
