90% of people in need of prosthetic care worldwide do not have access. Penta Prosthetics is changing that. Through its medical recycling program, Penta collects surplus and secondhand prosthetics from across the U.S. and redistributes them to clinics and amputees in need around the world—providing high-quality, low-cost mobility solutions to those who would otherwise go without.

Founded in 2016 by students at Yale and Brown, Penta Prosthetics has since expanded its impact to 29 countries across every major geographic region. Their work goes beyond mobility—by restoring movement, they create economic, social, and educational opportunities, helping individuals transform their futures.
