* dr. Roy Heerenveen is a medical doctor from the island of Curaçao. He has a special love for music and participated at the Tumba festivals for the first time in 1979 and became the first runner-up. Two years later (1981) dr. Roy Heerenveen founded Koprokamu. This organization was responsible for organizing the Tumba festival for kids. So he is considered the "founding father" of the kids Tumba festivals. dr. Roy Heerenveen was also the owner and manager of one of the most popular band from Curaçao during the 1980's.
