Jeep CJ Dana 20 Transfer Case Part 1 - The Teardown

Another indepth dive into a CJ7 drivetrain component with a lot of gears. This, like the T150 transmission, was very intimidating due to my lack of knowledge on how the Dana 20 works. After having taken it apart, I am happy to say that it's not a big deal. If I can do it, you can do it. It actually is fairly easy to do and if you watch the video all the way through, you'll see the same thing.

Input, Output, Intermediate Shafts
Internal Washers (Thrust & Bearing)
Bearings & Cups
Seals
Gaskets
Thimble Caps
Speedometer Shims
Output Shaft Caps Shims
Needle Bearings
Yokes
Yoke Nuts & Washer

Things that are hard to find:
Poppet Balls
Speedometer Gear
Speedometer Drive Gear
Shift Forks
Shift Rails
