In Robin Hood Sherwood Builders you can take 15 Pine, 20 Apples, and 350 Coins and plant not just one, but an unlimited number of Apple Trees in your forest village. This is because of a bug in the game that you can easily exploit, where all that is needed are the resources to build an Apple Tree, but when you build it the resources are not taken out of your inventory. So you can just keep building more and more Apple Trees. Apple Trees also take no villagers as assigned workers and they will all drop Juicy Apples at a good pace. That's right Juicy Apples, which are better in every way when compared to normal Apples. Eat the Juicy Apples to quench your thirst and satisfy your hunger as well as give yourself a little boost of extra energy, or collect and sell them to the trader in your village for 20 Coins each. I built about 6 Apple Trees in my village, and from that point on they were my primary source of income. And if that is not good enough for you hold your tongue and try to say Juicy Apples three times fast ;-)
