This special episode of the Capitalist Corner, hosted by Michael Liebowitz, features an interview with Tom Pentalow, who is running for town council in Wethersfield, Michael's hometown, as an unaffiliated Republican.

Tom Pentalow was a police officer in the town where Michael grew up and was one of the few who tried to help and inspire him, later speaking on Michael's behalf to help him get out of prison and giving him a job when he got out. Tom was a cop for over 20 years, including working a youth officer dealing with trouble kids from the projects and as a DARE officer, teaching kids to resist peer pressure and drugs by focussing on their self-esteem.

Some of the issues Tom cares about include taxes, economic growth, and community support for seniors. He is more concerned with collaborating for the good of the town than the parties he's working with, and is keen on finding the right incentives to increase the number of volunteer firefighters.

Pentalow is available to voters via Instagram and email ([email protected]). He is also trying to be visible at town functions, coffee talks, and even pouring beers at the carnival to talk to people. He encourages people to look at the candidates, not just the party.
