New York City FC to build soccer stadium next to Citi Field in Queens

New York City officials and New York City FC have reached a deal for the team to build a soccer-specific stadium in Willets Point, Queens. The stadium will be steps from Citi Field, where the New York Mets play, and the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, home to the U.S. Open. The multi-use site will also have housing and retail.
