from Madinah and arrival to Karbala.

Imam Ali Maqam left Madinah for Makkah with 84 members of his family and companions on Sunday night, 28th Rajab and according to some other traditions, 3rd Sha'ban. He spent the whole night at the blessed grave of his mother Lady of Heaven and brother Imam Hasan. He prayed there and bid farewell.
Then he spent two consecutive nights at the shrine of his maternal grandfather, the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him.
