Kaushal Lakhotia and Esther Schweins visited Ramkrishna Mission Ashram in New Delhi to talk about Yoga, meditation and other aspects of life and philosophy.

Popular German actress and passionate yoga fan Esther Schweins is in India to dive deeply into this rich Indian philosophy that is becoming ever more popular in Europe. Esther has been practicing Hatha yoga for more than a decade and aims to increase her knowledge of and understanding for this vital part of Indian culture.

She will travel from New Delhi to Rishikesh and further on to Varanasi, Pune and Goa among other places. The German actress wishes to explore how deeply Yoga is rooted in Indian society. What does it mean to the people here? How much of a difference, Esther wonders, will she find between Yoga in India and in Europe?

The 5 part documentary series is a co-production between Ameyukti Studios Private Limited and Kobalt Documentary GmbH, based in Berlin, Germany.

The series is being produced for the award winning German-French cultural channel ARTE.

Brief Profile:

Kaushal Lakhotia and Abhilasha Chaudhary are food, travel, fashion and culture enthusiasts. They plan to share their experiences through this channel. It will be completely in Hindi.

Kaushal is a journalist by profession and Abhilasha is a French language teacher.
