Expanding holes in metal is not as easy as it may seem, especially when you're dealing with hardened metal. We used the Champion Cutting Tool Corp. SA80 Car Reamer to enlarge a 1/2" hole into a 3/4" hole. The SA80 did a great job, along with using the Brute Lube wax for lubrication. The reamer is a left-hand thread (cut) and right-hand drill, which pushes the metal shrapnel away from the operator.
