The Art of the Snap Roll with the 46% scale UltimateTOC in FS One V2: Mike McConville goes through a sequence of lessons teaching the art of flying precision snap rolls. This is the first lesson. A key element to the snap is what's called "unloading the snap". First elevator is used to pitch up, then it's removed (unloaded) while rudder and aileron go in. Then to prevent over rotating, a technique called "leading rudder out" is used, which means the rudder input comes out before the aileron at the end of the snap.
