News Article :-
Johnny Depp will return to fillms again, and fans don’t need to worry about him possibly choosing to retire from acting, as that isn’t his plan.

Depp has had considerably less film work in recent years, after a publicly contentious divorce from Amber Heard, where she alleged she was a victim of domestic violence.

The pair even went to court with Depp suing her for defamation — and he has been slowly trying to make a comeback since.
While sharing joy over the success of friends who have staged their own comebacks, and re-signing lucrative spokesperson deals, he has had a little less luck when it comes to reprising some of his famous roles.

Now, reports have surfaced that he is instead shifting his focus and choosing to retire as an actor as a result — but that isn’t the case after all.
According to TMZ, Depp is currently finding a new passion project in directing, as he works on the biopic Modi.
The website reports that he is focused on editing and finalizing the project. However, he still plans to return to the U.S. at some point, and whie act in films while here.

But his current focus is on Modi, which according to IMdB, focuses on a “72-hour whirlwind through the streets of WWI paris, Italian bohemian artist Modigliani attempts to out maneuver bombs, policemen, girlfriends and critics in an increasingly desperate search of a home for his art.”
It stars Al Pacino, Riccardo Scamarcio and Sally Phillips.
His new work all comes two years after the televised trial between him and his ex-wife, who he divorced in 2017.

During the trial, that Depp brought against Heard over the 2018 Washington Post op-ed in which she wrote that she was a public figure representing domestic abuse, shocking claims about the former couple's behavior during the marriage were made.
In the end, he was awarded $10 million in compensatory damages and $5 million in punitive damages.

Heard also received $2 million in compensatory damages at the end of the trial.
