How To Fix A Leaky PVC Joint | DIY Plumbing

In this home repair video I'm going to show you how to fix a leaky PVC joint. If you take your time leaks are easy to fix with DIY plumbing. All you need are some parts and this tutorial. It can be easy to fix PVC leaks and CPVC leaks if you watch this video!

PVC leaks typically occur in the joints and can be caused by using the wrong PVC primer or PVC cement. They can also occur with frozen pipes. As I said in my video, you basically need to just drain the pipes, cut out the leaky joint using either a hacksaw or PVC cutters and then replace using new PVC or CPVC pipe and fittings.
