message from artist from Black Crystal (channel), Lucy Zhi: I'm not sure if everyone saw the announcement I posted in the community tab so I will start by saying, I have been stuck with a virus since May 7. I just felt really sick. I didn't expect this cold to last this long. but as the days dragged on, the realization started to sink in and it hurt that I couldn't sing. My voice wouldn't come out. and I didn't know what to tell people who showed me so much support during this hard time. I couldn't tell them that I will be back tomorrow. my voice is still not completely back. my voice still sounds a little funny. my throat would get itchy and then I'd break into a coughing fit and then only clearing out the mucus would it stop. my throat would be in a lot of pain after. I was going to wait until I fully recovered but being away gave me more anxiety than my throat hurt. I prepared a song cover, I hope you'll like it. I hope you have been well.
