MGM / UA’s “The Addams Family” - 2020 DVD Review

This is a review of the 2020 DVD of Metro Goldwyn Mayer / United Artists’ “The Addams Family.” The film stars the voice talents of Oscar Isaac, Charlize Theron, Chloë Moretz, Finn Wolfard, Nick Kroll, Bette Midler, and Allison Janney. The film was animated at Cinesite Studios in Vancouver, formerly Nitrogen Studios. The film takes place after Gomez and Morticia got married and we’re forced to leave their home and surprisingly enough, they find an old haunted asylum in the United States, New Jersey in particular. Gomez and Morticia are taken in by a Frankenstein’s Monster-style butler named Lurch. Many years later, Gomez and Morticia have two children named Wednesday and Puggsley. Meanwhile, outside of the Addams House, life is brilliant in the state of New Jersey. A famous really TV star named Margaux Needler is building a new neighborhood in which a bunch of new people can live together as neighbors.
